Preoperative exams are mandatory. They can be
performed during an outpatient visit.
The anesthesiologist may decide the
opportunity of certain exams, or to cancel others.

A cardiological and respiratory exam, a
lower limb Doppler test. |

A blood sample analysis. |

An echography that will check the liver and
the gallbladder (looking for gallstones). |

An upper GI endoscopy. This exam can be
performed under general anesthesia. The physician will for ulcer or hiatal
